Re: SDRuno on Linux

Got my RSP2 yesterday. Tried it briefly on my Windows PC with both SDRUno and HDSDR. No problems and SDRUno looks and feels wonderful, albeit with rather small text on 1440p. Couldn't get either to work with RDP as Windows 7 disables system audio when that protocol is used for connections... Got fur...

Re: SDRuno on Linux

wxWidgets doesn't use cmake. The make I used was the two line variety. From cli history it went: tar -xvjf wxWidgets-3.1.0.tar.bz2 cd wxWidgets-3.1.0/ ./autogen.sh ./configure --with-opengl --disable-shared --enable-monolithic --with-libjpeg --with-libtiff --with-libpng --with-zlib --disable-sdltest...

Re: SDRuno on Linux

Nope. Same errors as last time I tried to install CubicSDR, which isn't surprising because the instructions are almost identical to those I used before. Went as far as editing CMakeList.txt which made it go a bit further. My current hunch is that the wxWidgets-staticlib directory should be in wxWidg...

Re: SDRuno on Linux

Re: copy/paste - I suspect it's a browser thing? I can see differences depending on whether I use Chrome or MS Edge - however both copy/paste fine for me into either PuTTY or Virtual Machine. You're right. I use FireFox and if I copy from its rendering of the .pdf I get line-feeds in some very odd ...

Re: SDRuno on Linux

Thanks. Looks easy. Easier than my previous try to get CubicSDR working anyway. I'll report how it goes when my RSP2 arrives. Should be this week. One thing I noticed is that lines like: git clone https://github.com/pothosware/SoapySDRPlay.git ./SoapySDRPlay paste (to the cli) like: g it clone https...

Re: Plug type for RSP2 clock I/O?

Thanks. Found some adapters on Farnell and the docs at http://www.sdrplay.com/downloads/ which I must have missed somehow (I'm new).

Re: SDRuno on Linux

There should be some kind of award for anyone who gets CubicSDR running on ubuntu/Linux. I gave up and I know Linux pretty well, or thought I did. So - well done Paul47 :) Would really like to see SDRUno working on Linux. I use Mint 18 for everything except one particular game/sim I play on Windows....

Plug type for RSP2 clock I/O?

I'm waiting for an RSP2 and plan to use it with a good 24MHz clock on the 24MHz reference clock input connection. Could someone tell me the socket type? It's probably obvious somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

Re: RSP2 and Linux

Mint 18 user here. Hoping to see the document mentioned today, or soonish. Will that great looking software (SDRUno) work on Linux as well? I don't even mind using Wine, if necessary. Ordered an RSP2 on the strength of the post above. Used to use a QS1R with SDRMax software on ubuntu, so I know what...
