Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

The plots are showing a calibration signal level and not noise levels. The signal was on the input to the RSPDuos continuously before, during and after the "Stop" - "Play" sequence. The level drops not only at the start but at other times and the calibration signal has not changed. There is also an ...

External clock RSPDuo and RSP2

From the RSPDuo introduction V3 The reference clock circuitry has been significantly enhanced and can now interface to a GPSDO delivering a 0-3v output without any interface circuit. It is capable of operating as a clock master to other RSPduos or RSP2s and will also operate as a clock slave when us...

Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

I have run a test using the same arrangements described above. In the plot below I show the changes in the Volume output level as monitored in two separate instances of Spectrum Lab and combined into the one plot. The RSPDuo is being controlled by SDRUno and the output is connected to Spectrum Lab b...

Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

You suggested using Aaudacity to eliminate or otherwise any fault in Spectrum Lab. I was waiting until I had another shift before changing over from one app to the other (audacity) but the level has been stable for the 6 days. Holding off changes turns out to be the right decision. It was some time ...

Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

Roger - being a complete stranger to Audacity I have looked at the manual and am still do not understand what you are suggesting. I follow using Audacity instead of Spectrum Lab to eliminate the latter. Is the idea that I take a reading from the strip indicators for each channel that show signal lev...

You must enter at least two poll options. and I am unable to go any further. Is there a setting or something that I need to make?

Early stability results for RSPDuo stability and suggestion for future versions of Uno

I have a couple a few weeks of setting up and using Uno and Duo (does that make Tr ;-) ) and have some early comments on its performance and a few suggestions for future versions of Uno. The frequency stability seens to be better than my RSP2-Pro; using a GPS reference calibration the two tuners hav...

Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

BTW Can VACs connect to two different apps simultaneously? If so I could record both.

Re: SDRUno Ready for Diversity RX With SDRDuo?

I am interested in monitoring the phase change between the streams carrying "continuously" changing signals. Would it possible/intended to have a phase output file for these data?

Re: Shift in output levels on DUO

I don't seem able to edit the previous posting - I get a message saying that I have to answer at least to polling messages??? The problem is possibly/probably not SDRUno's so any clues about windows 7 or laptop sound that may cause the problem would be useful. A further jump downward occurred last n...
