Re: Excessive consumption of ram (google tranlator)

Sorry, ik3umz, this screenshot means little to me. Please post a shot of the Task Manager and answer the question I ask in my first post. I would also suggest you reduce the BW to the minimum you really need. Your 5 MHz BW is using both CPU and memory resources.
Thanks and enjoy, John.

Re: Excessive consumption of ram (google tranlator)

ik3umz, to get any real help more information is needed. First, what is excessive to you? DanubeBCL reports his SDRuno consumes 60 MB. Is the excessive to you? Please post the specifics of your system - OS (W7, etc?) memory size, processor cores and speed. What are your symptoms? Are you seeing high...

Re: Rrequency incorrect

Robz, please be aware that when DTV became active many stations were allowed to keep their original channel number, not not necessarily the same frequency. You need to check what real channels are being used. In my case local channel 7 is using 174 - 180 MHz (real channel 7) but all the others have ...

Re: SDRuno software now available for the RSP

https://s31.postimg.org/d3bp7z8a3/SDRuno_DL.jpg Click anywhere on the first line and you can DL the SDRuno installer. Click the second line, Release Notes and third the Manual will DL. Passing the cursor over the lines does nothing - no indication there are links here except the URL shows in my bro...

Re: SDRuno software now available for the RSP

Thanks W5ggh, just figured that out. It is not clear where the link to the SW is. Clicking on any line but the top gets the manual and the link inside the manual is dead. Not top quality presentation.
Enjoy, John.

Re: SDRuno software now available for the RSP

What a mess! The first time I DLed the SDRuno manual, I got a PDF file with essentially no content. I just tried again and got apparently the complete PDF but the link to the DL is dead (404, Not Found). There is no link to SDRuno on the the page with the manual, only a link that goes directly to th...

Re: CPU overload

Ai8o, as W9ZO says, the obvious answer is more horsepower. What version of W7 are you running and what bit-ness (32/64)? Have you tried any other SDR SWs? I would suggest SDR-Radio especially if you have an nVidia video card. SDR-Radio uses CUDA code in the video card if it is nVidia. This can signi...

Re: Can't run Mirics SDR on my PC

billyboy, I have seen the ntoskrnl.exe file in BSODs before. It is a Windows kernel routine and is not the cause of the problem - just a symptom. I am surprised that SDRplay Support did not more clearly sort out what you are running. I would take them up on their offer for support via support@sdrpla...

GPS decode via SDRPlay.

Can anyone direct me to information for using SDRPLAY to receive and decode GPS signals? There seems to be plenty of cheap GPS antennae with LNA available (EG, Amazon). Thanks and enjoy, John.
