Re: RSSI
Not knowing why exactly you want to do that (sounds like you're fighting with local interference): You could use HDSDR's ultra-slow waterfall feature to get the approximate time (within the limits of the timestamps at low speeds). If you click on "Speed" under the main waterfall, you can enter a tim...

Re: Won't load a new file for playback while playing a file
I can confirm the behavior as far as after loading another file the play button stays lit and does not react. However all I have to do is clicking stop and then the play button again to hear the other file (which is what I would have expected). So the bug could rather be that opening the file->open ...

Re: The new SDRPlay: RSP2
Port A will work, but is slightly degraded compared to the HiZ performace....that is why it is stated as performance not guaranteed... Thanks, Paul. It looks like I have to check that for myself, but the antenna I'm using has already (deliberately, to mitigate overload problems) reduced performance...

Re: Impossible To Install
Today, it's absolutely necessary to update your virus definition tables and the AV software itself at least the very day you're going to download or install something. In particular AV products like Norton etc., using a "reputation" score to assess new bits of software often - sometimes even silentl...

Re: SDRUno update 1.02 -> 1.04 thrashed my workspaces setups
Thanks for getting back to me! I recently installed 1.1 and of course it wiped all my settings again (I can see why it had to), but on the bright side being forced to take the grand tour around the software again is not only a bad thing when there's so many changes.

Re: The new SDRPlay: RSP2
First off, this is very unexpected, absolutely exiting news! Congratulations guys! I didn't expect that so soon but I'll be buying this ASAP! I jotted down a personal wishlist for a RSP1 successor at some point and on the data sheet you met all of theses wishes (OK except for the 16bit DA I wanted f...

SDRUno update 1.02 -> 1.04 thrashed my workspaces setups
Just updated from 1.02 to 1.04 and API 1.97 and my saved workspaces are all gone now. Windows 7 x64. Spend quite some time to set up the windows as I needed it, now I'm back on square one. What gives? Any way to get that back? Any way to update without losing work?

Re: Windows Update
Yeah it hits users/machines randomly. Only one of the more recent update cockups really made it to the news, it keeps on happening since then but seems to affect fewer users. It has caused me some unnecessary work anyway.

Re: Windows Update
Known issues with several recent Windows 10 updates - updates breaking permissions, uninstalling software, flinging out drivers... not to mention Win 10 taking away control over the computer from its owner if you're not careful, Windows 10 sucks a$$ big time. They had good reasons to give it away fo...

Re: Comparing SDRuno to HDSDR
You may want to play with the sensitivity and contrast sliders in the spectrum window settings, also it may be good to turn off "WF Avg" (Waterfall Averaging) at the same place. Since SDRuno always starts with the spectrum fully zoomed out (that's kind of bad), also make sure you have zoomed in enou...
