Audio at the time

Post by Nicolap » Thu Oct 13, 2016 9:56 pm

Hi guys!! I installed the software with SDRUno SDRPlay, on my computer with a sound card Realtek high definition sound. Audio is heard at times, jerky, especially in FM Broadcast. The performances do not exceed 40%, and I tried with WME and ASIO4ALL driver thinking it was a buffer problem or do not know. I have to change some settings in particular?

I have this problem with a laptop that has an under-powered CPU, and it sounds like that could be your problem too.

If your Passmark rating here for your CPU is around 1000 or less you are likely to have the problem you describe (I'm not sure exactly what the cutoff number might be because my next least powerful CPU is rated around 2400 and it has no problems at all, but it's a large range between 1000 and 2400):

You can try reducing bandwidth and see if that helps. If it does not you may want to consider getting a more powerful computer, or try using software like HDSDR which uses less resources.
