SDRplay Community Forum

Hi,

I have an ICOM 718 and I was hoping to use the SDRPlay2 to view the spectrum that my ICOM is seeing. I bought an RTR-2 to do that, but it looks like I need more.

I would appreciate it if anybody could list the components (including cables) that I need to connect an ICOM 718 to the SDRPlay2.

I use the DXE RTR-1A with an FT-991. Do you want to control the SDRPlay via the 718? I'm not familiar with it, but if you have the 718 talking to your computer, the only other software you'll need is "Omni-Rig" if you want to control SDRUno or SDR Console with your 718.
