As I am a total newbie to SDR I am getting confused by all the recomodations on the web.

Running windows1 what is the working stable version at this moment and whwre to download

We have approved your post, but if you want help, you really need to provide more information. For example, what software are you referring to when you ask what is the stable working version? It would also help if you were to inform people of what kind of things you might be interested in doing in SDR as it will help guide the software recommendations that you will be able to get.
