Unable to get Device Manager to recognise SDRplay

Post by Woodrow359 » Mon Nov 23, 2015 8:23 pm

Hello, I have been trying for several days to get my computer to
recognize the SDRplay box ... I have gone to the SDR website, downloaded
the Mirics Sdr installer and Extio installer and installed as required..
I am running Windows 10 and not having any problems with the computer
or current software.. I am not a newbie... I have been using computers
since the mid 70's... I am very frustrated.. I think my SDRplay box is
possible not working. I have changed my USB cable, Changed USB ports
and not feeling the love...I have sdr-console and Hdsdr software
installed... Neither of which can see the SDRplay hardware.
I need some advise or help Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having problems getting up and running.

After you've done the driver installation and connected the RSP, do you not see the Mirics FlexiTV (MSi2500) device in the Audio, Video and Game Controllers section of the device manager? If not, does it appear as an unknown device?

Can you send any screenshots of the issue to support@sdrplay.com and we'll try to help you get going.

If you can also send us the setupapi.dev.log file from the C:\Windows\inf directory that would also help us identify the issue.

Best regards,

SDRplay Support
