Still No Scanner?

Wow. My RSP2 has sat on the shelf for a long time. Why?
Besides the occasional decoding of LEO weather sats and using HDSDR to DX late in the evening, it just sits.
No Scanner Yet? I have my trusty ICOM IC R8500 with rig control to scan and log VHF air band and public service frequencies.
That way I don't have to look for little blips on the fft….click....and log.
What's with you guys? A scanner is a basic necessity with any modern radio.
I feel a bit like I have purchased a Lucas Electrics product. A bit more reliable, but still kluky.
Kudo's to Simon. Although my daily email's show this and that works or doesn't.
How about a scanner that does work??
Come on guys!

The scanner is scheduled for v1.3 of SDRUno as far as I know, and has been since the 'road map' was published:

"Here’s a reminder of the SDRuno software roadmap:

Version 1.3:
a) I/Q output via audio output for applications such as CWSkimmer
b) Frequency Scanner
c) Move all stored configuration settings from the Windows registry to a .INI file

Version 1.4:
a) A re-architectured version of SDRuno which will support 3rd party demodulator ‘plugins’ via a new plugin API
b) Dual stream signal processing for diversity/noise cancellation for the RSPduo

Version 1.41: A Remote Client version of 1.4"

Release 1.3 is current in development and scanning is part of that development.
