Changes in calibration Level and Noise floor

Post by MTG » Thu Mar 16, 2017 12:49 pm

I am applying a calibration signal to the SDRPlay RSP2 Pro and have, on several occasions, seen the noise floor and the recorded signal level drop abruptly by roughly 3 dB. The signal input level is constant - I am monitoring it also on another receiver setup (FCDP+) The levels have never gone higher. In the latest test there is a period of over 7 hours at one level, a drop to a level maintained for around 3 hours and then another drop. The calibration signal is 30 dB above the noise floor. Any ideas ?

The drop in signal level and noise floor does NOT happen when using SDR Console V3. So this does appear to be a bug in SDRuno. Is there a way of posting bug reports or is this it?
