Recording & VHF Query

Post by Cheemag » Fri Apr 07, 2017 4:04 pm

Hello,

I received my SDRplay Pro today. So far so good, but:
a...how do I enter a VHF frequency?
b...I can find nothing about recording in the manual. I managed to make a test recording but was unable to play it back. After having stopped the recording, the buttons on the record page are unresponsive.

Regards,

JimD

Hello again,

To play a recording I usually click STOP first in the MAIN window. Then click the OPT button (in main) - Select Input - WAV file. That should open a file dialog from where you should be able to find your file. You can then control Start Stop Pause in the recorder window.

All easier to do than to describe really :)

Good dx,
John.

The SRP's accept frequency entry as KHz. So if you enter 909 you will be taken to 909 KHz in the MW(AM) band. Typing in 5975 will put you on 5.975 MHz in the SW band. So from this you can see that to go to 101 MHz VHF you have to enter 101000. It'd be much better if there were MHz/KHz terminators.
