Audio Recording

GA OMs,

When can we hope for a native recording facility in SDRuno? Wishfully with independent recording for each receiver instance - even more wishfully: in .MP3 with a 1-second or 1-minute timestamp in the file (like RecAll Pro) ...

Regards,

Jim

i'd love this too.
i think it's bizarre how many sdr apps can't record to wav/mp3, like were supposed to constantly sit next to a speaker 24/7.

Me too would appreciate.

And preferably with a scheduler, thank you.

What did listeners do before SDR apps? Surely there must be a number of methods of recording audio on a PC? I use something called scanner recorder which makes WAV files. It has a audio mute feature which makes it easy to monitor repeaters.

audacity has sound activated recording thing it that's ok for single channel use but where you have multiple channels it becomes a mash.

i mostly listen to marine band and have rtl_airband on a raspberry pi listening 24/7 recording 8 individual channels to mp3, it's great but rtlsdr isn't as good as a device made for SDR. sensitivity and dynamic range.

I was amazed how quickly my .wav recordings in SDRUno got huge, even for a .wav file, but I have since found out (especially since they have all been blank on a media player) that it's not recording sound...

I would like to see this as well. I'm hearing what I think is radar on 1.2825GHz and want to send it to our repeater director for his ear (he can't hear it at his QTH).
