CWAFC

I saw the option CWAFC on the RX Control window and thought that it would be useful for listening to a CW "net" that hasn't netted too carefully. However, engaging CWAFC just sends the receiver off on a long slow sweep across the band, never pausing for a moment to notice the CW stations it sweeps through. Has anyone got this feature to work or have I missed the point about what it is intended to do. :?

I believe this is a known bug in SDR Uno.

That's a bug in V1.2 but was fixed in V1.21 - you can find the latest version on our downloads page (https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads)

I was unaware of this having been a known bug but, I am sorry to report that I am running 1.21 with the behaviour as described.

Hello Martin,
We cannot find a problem with CW AFC. We are wondering whether the problem that you are having is caused by there being multiple CW signals within the SP2 bandwidth and the AFC algorithm, is having difficulty in locking to a specific signal. The AFC locking does have a long time constant, but in our tests, it always locks to a single signal.

If you continue to have problem, I suggest that you open up a support ticket and send us details of what you are seeing, ideally with a link to a video file so that we can observe the specific issue that you are seeing.

Sincerely

I logged the ticket and exchanged a couple of brief videos with the helpful support team. It appears there is still a problem with CWAFC specifically when you zoom in SP2 and then adjust the frequency bar.

This will be fixed in a future release.
