am i doing something wrong ? sdruno with SDRplay 1
Hi all,
I have a SDRPLAY 1 with sdruno but i do not get any stations even music stations on HF, i see some signals but most are rumble sounds...
is there a frequentie that i can tune in to that is so strong that i must here something ?, the SDRPLAY is connected right with the SDRPLAY.
this is on 20 meters,
but also on broadcast frequenties i recieve nothing, mijn question is then
- is there something i have to set in de SDRUNO application ?
- is it posible that the play is broken?, if so can i check that somewhere ?
setup,
- SDRPLAY 1
- SDRUNO application on Windows10
- antenne is a magnatic loop 20 meters (indoors)
Tnx for your time
Andre

Hi Andre
Your screenshot appears to show a spectrum display with no actual signals (I believe that what you are seeing is actually a single interference source with it's harmonics).
If you are receiving signals on other bands, it may be useful to re-check your operating selections.

I agree with Paul - those regularly-spaced 'rumbles' are probably just harmonics of a local interference source. Bear in mind that 20m is pretty poor after dark - I've just quickly looked and the band is almost empty. Try 40m (7MHz), you should hear activity there, especially above 7200 where there are some strong broadcast stations. If you still hear nothing, please post a screenshot of the full screen so we can see your settings. Also re-check your antenna connections.
