general audio output tone control

I don't think I have seen much discussion on how to achieve audio tone control (bass, treble, etc.) in SDRuno. What are folks using in this area? Piping (via virtual cables?) the audio output into the controls that come with the computer OS in the form of a mixer panel? I'm thinking that the notch controls in SDRuno are insufficient for this. . .

Ideas appreciated (and perhaps a future SDRuno capability?)

Thanks,

Hi Roger
Have you experimented with he HP Filter control, located within the "Sett" menu of the RX Control panel?
Use either mouse L/R keys or wheel to increment/decrement - this does have a tonal effect.
I hope this may be of help to you.

Selecting the 'soft filter' feature might help. I find the digital filters give a rather harsh top end due to their super-flat response and steep sides. The soft filter gives the filters 'rounded shoulders' like hardware xtal/ceramic filters which knocks of the edginess.

Most soundcards (even the onboard ones) offer the capability of tone control (bass/treble) as well as special effects. If you can hear the audio in your speakers or headphones no additional patching should be required.
