SRDUno, Omnirig and TS-590SG Problem

Post by mattltm » Tue Apr 10, 2018 6:48 am

I'm trying to run SDRUno with an RSP1A as a panadapter for my Kenwood TS-590SG. I've got it interfaced with Omnirig and the radio control is all working but the TS-590SG is beeping at random intervals. The beeps are the same ones that are made when switching mode (LSB, USB etc) so it seems like SDRUno is sending the mode command at random intervals.

Has anyone had this problem?

This problem with the 590SG has been discussed before on this forum. From memory I recall there is a problem with the Kenwood driver and you need to get an older version to work with Omni-rig. Do a search (upper right corner) for "590SG" to see the posts.

Thanks Roger.

I tried rolling back the driver but had no luck. I ended up doing a complete reinstall of Windows 10 (it was a new machine anyway) and that seems to have solved the problem.

SDRuno keeps making my TS-590SG beep at radom intervals and is bloody annoying, any ideas? My laptop is running Windows 7 and is a 64 bit machine.
