Omni-Rig not working with RSP1A?

Post by coldje » Mon Jun 25, 2018 4:41 pm

My RSP1A SDR has a USB port connected to my PC via a USB A/B cable. I'm using VSPE to emulate a COM port paired ports COM 10/11. The Omni-Rig client keeps saying "Rig is not responding." I have an IC-7300. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I used VSPE to create a splitter, Windows 10 put the icom driver at com 3, I used vspe to split that to com 5, then configured omnirig to com 5. I use 115200 as aport speed all around. Using the splitter I can use N1MM or DXlab and use sdr uno to select the frequency although I notice that clicking on the spectrum display does not always select the correct frequency...hope this helps Tom
