Getting External Error during installation. Help!

Post by bclever » Fri Jun 29, 2018 3:03 pm

Running Windows 10, Home Edition
Installed a new RSPduo, I assume it also downloaded the proper driver
Downloaded and installed SDRuno software ver.1.23
Plugged in USB cable
Selected a good COM port, COM 1
Touched on green button "PLAY"
I get the following error pop up window: UNDEFINED EXTERNAL ERROR (Audio Input Error)
I do not have any idea what to check to resolve this problem.
Can anyone please help? Suggestions??

Thanks, Bob KW4CQ

It's best to follow the 'Start here' procedure on the site. Remember not to plug in the USB connection until prompted to do so. All the necessary files will be downloaded & installed in the process, no need to download or install anything else. There should be no need to set up any COM port for standalone operation.
Only plug in the USB when prompted and then wait a few moments for the drivers to install before pressing the big green button. It should work straight away.
