SDRuno wont start

Post by G1NZO » Sun Jul 01, 2018 2:47 pm

Have RSP1A

Loaded software from SDRPLAY site

Seems to install OK but then get error saying No RSP Detected
Nothing visible in control panel under sound devices
PC is Win 7 64bit

The main screen appears for a second then dissapears

Look like driver is not loaded

I have loaded the frequently mentioned Microsoft patch re Win 7

Can anyone point me in the right direction
and confirm which package from SDRPLAY i should use

Hi G1nzo
There are a fair few possibilities, but the most probable simple ones are:
1. Do not start the install programme with the RSP plugged in - wait for the prompt to do so.
2. Incompatible or defective USB port/s.
Good luck!

Further: sorry no experence with Windows 7, but all versions of SDRuno should work with all RSP's.
However,to avoid any potential problems (for the moment), it may be advisable to install V1.22 (V1.23 should work OK and uses less system resources, but perhaps best to go for the older version until you have resolved any problems that you may still have).

There has been an issue running SDRuno on Windows 7. SDRplay can give you information on a Microsoft patch. File a support ticket with them and they will get you running quickly. https://www.sdrplay.com/support/
