Keyboard Entering Of Frequencies ?
Keyboard Entering Of Frequencies ?
Hello,
How please do I enter a frequency from my keyboard ?
*And designating if what I entered is MHz or KHz ?
I tried entering, e.g., 10.0 MHz.
Pressed 10.0 and a M and then Return, but this didn't do anything.
What's the correct way ?
Also, on this subject, more or less, if anyone has a spare moment, might they
look at my fairly recent previous Post on the numerical format for frequencies
that show. Still confused with all the decimals over how to read if it is MHz or KHz
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Keyboard Entering Of Frequencies ?
First click the tuning cursor away from the central LO frequency. This will save trouble later.
Now press the space bar. This puts you in 'freq entry' mode.
Then enter your 10.2 (or whatever).
Then hit M on your keyboard.
You should now be on your chosen frequency.
Now you can choose the mode - AM, FM, USB etc and the bandwidth.
You can tune up and down using the mouse wheel using the default step size or you can hover over the digit you wish to change.
