Am I correct that there is no way to see how the software looks/runs on my system until AFTER I purchase an RSP?

I'm not interested in seeing how looks on someone else's system via videos - I want to install/launch/navigate BEFORE I spend the money on the RSPDuo.

I'm really hoping that I'm missing something and that RSPUno is not essentially locked until I attach an RSP receiver.

Any suggestions?

SDRuno will not run without having a RSP connected to the machine SDRuno is being run from.

The operation of SDRuno is hardware specific. The main panel is configured appropriately depending upon which hardware is connected. it is not possible to configure SDRuno unless an RSP is actually connected.

It is possible to use run the ExtIO version which comes with release 1.22 with third party software such as an RTL SDR, but of course many of the features associated with the RSP will be missing.
