Update SDRuno issue
Update SDRuno issue
Hello all,
I have your RSP1A SDR and installed it using SDRuno v1.22. I am getting the message that there is an update to v1.23 every time I boot the application. So I have downloaded and installed version 1.23 (having unplugged the device first) but when I use this new version I still get the message that there is an update available. Clearly I have done something wrong. In the SDRPlay folder in program files, there are two folders, one is SDRuno and the other being SDRuno 123.
Great little device but help with the update issue would be good.
Thanks,
Roger, G8VLR

There is an update to 1.23 - version 1.24. It is recommended for the RSPduo but works fine on my RSP1A.
You can turn off Auto Update checks in the OPT menu in the Main window.

I have an RSP1 and running 1.22 Is there anything to be gained by installing 1.23 or 1.24
I haven't been on these forums much lately and from what I have read it doesn't seem so. Have we been forgotten? When I bought my unit a little over a year ago there were a lot of suggestions from users for updates including a couple from me. Some received answers from tech support and others didn't. I'm wondering if they were lost, put on the back burner or outright dismissed. It would be nice to know.

Re: Update SDRuno issue
RSP1 owners have not been forgotten or ignored. Release 1.23/4 were developed to provide support for the RSPduo, but they also give a lower CPU load than release 1.22. However, there is a bug that affects the gain control on the RSP1. This is being corrected in the next release (1.3), which also includes a raft of new features including Frequency Scanning. The intent is that all RSPs will be fully supported in release 1.3 and all future releases.
