Laptop Settings for SDRuno

Post by Jumbo » Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:55 pm

Hello,
I am considering the purchase of a laptop.
What would these features be for working with SDRuno and RSP1A:
Processor: Intel I5, I7? Clocked at ... .. GHz?
Ram ... Go?
Screen size 15, 17 ...... inches
Nvidia graphics card type?
Etc ... ..

Thank you for your opinions

I've used several laptops, including an elderly P6200, an i3 and an i5, all clocked between 2.1 and 2.4 GHz and from 1 to 8 GB of memory. All have 15 inch screens and standard Intel HD 5500-type onboard graphics. All work fine, although the old P6200 could stutter a bit above 6 MHz b/w. The rest of them all work well right up to 10 MHz width and I can even surf the net at the same time. I've never used more than one VRX though, so I can't advise on that.

Re: Screen Size
The bigger the better, SDRuno is a real estate hog. I would recommend a dual monitor setup.
