Transverter / Converter setup

Hi,
Apologies if you've also seen my same question over on the Facebook page yesterday. Not sure how much overlap there is.
Is there a simple guide I can be pointed to to setup SDRuno for use with a transverter?
I have a RSP2pro that is connected to the 28MHz output of a Kuhne 28/1296MHz transverter. I've tried changing the Offset in the 'Main Settings' but it doesn't seem to do what I was expecting (I typed in 1268000000 into OFFS1). I'm expecting to be able to type in an RX frequency in the RX Control Window of say 1296.200MHz and see my injected test signal which would have been downconverted to 28.200MHz.
I'm sure it's a simple thing but can I get it to work?!? Just looking for (further) confirmation that I'm an idiot and the solution is very simple.
