MIRICS MSi2500 - SDPPlay
HI,
I've spent quite a few hours this week trying to get SDRPlay working in Ubuntu. Today I finally managed to get through the guide that is posted here.
http://www.sdrplay.com/docs/Mirics_SDR_ ... e_r2p0.pdf
However, when I start GQRX, I don't see SDRPlay as an usable device., but I do see MIRICS MSi2500.
Am I missing Something ? what else might I need to do? adding MSi2500 to blocklist.conf maybe ?
Any help would be appreciated, I can't give up on this, else that's a week of my life down the drain
Many Thanks in anticipation
Pete

If you don't see SDRplay but you do see miri then that's using the wrong library. The miri library is an unofficial library that will not control all of the bands for the RSP - you need to make sure gr-osmosdr has been successfully compiled with the SDRplay functionality enabled.
