I am used to the HDSDR program with the sdrplay.
But i want to have something else:
I like to connect the sdrplay via usb to a windows computer
and than i like to scan a specific frequency trajectory continuously.
for example 550.0 to 550.5 MHz.
i like to get the output of an FFT calculation over this frequency traject
in a file. So every FFT calculation gives a file whith frequency and strength
of the received signal.
After this my own written programs will do things with this files.
I do write programs in Pure Basic.
i do'nt need any graphic visualisation, i just need a black box program which
delivers a stream of files. (eventualy i can give some paramters to it)
So i think this must be possible whith the sdrplay, but i am definitively not
capable of writing this progam.
( i do need this for a Seti receiving setup with a huge antenna array system.)

although this all way over my head. But I just checked and it seems to accept direct input from both of the RSPx ExtIO .dlls, so you could use it to export spectrum data without an intermediate step while utilizing any bandwidth you want between 200kHz and 8MHz directly (as opposed by piping audio output to some external program, or SpectrumLab).

it is a lot of info. But as i have a quick look i see only output things.... but nothing is said about input from the sdrplay.
so i do not understand it.

Sorry, I understood you already have an RSPx, if not it would be best if you go through the first setup steps for usage with ExtIO compatible software like HDSDR once you have it, then most of what I wrote above will be less cryptic I guess. Just so much, a variety of 3rd-party SDR softwares are compatible with devices that come with an "ExtIO" library written for that device, so this device can be used with any of those softwares. SpectrumLab is one of them, it can process direct I/Q input from an RSPx directly (due to that ExtIO.dll) and output FFT data e.g. as text if I understood the linked page correctly.
