rsp1 drivers

Post by kg4nwe » Sat Jul 15, 2017 5:57 pm

Alrighty...So. Using the rsp1. Worked great. Listened to ssb hf and other things.. Decided to see some airplanes. Downloaded rtl1090. Started the setup. hmmm,,,
not sure what happened, but sdruno now says Error:RSP not found. I cannot figure this one out. Ive uninstalled everything, including the drivers. Reinstalled/ Changed cables ......seems nothing ive tried has remedied RSP not found.

Have you tried to reboot the machine?

Hi Mike
I know that this might seem a little "silly," but I've been there....(male - never read the instructions).
However, on several programmes there is a drop-down list that you need to access to select the rsp as opposed to the pre-selected default.
I hope that this may help.

I am not sure if I understood what you did, Ross.
rtl1090 is for RTL dongles. I did not know that rtl1090 supports RSP now.
Shouldn't you use dump1090 which has RSP support?
Could it be (just a guess) that you ran Zadig and inadvertently installed the RTL drivers for the RSP USB device?

Got me..haha.. I was using dump 1090. Turns out I it was simple.. the dump1090 was running in the background and it was using the RSP so the uno didn't see it. I right clicked dump 1090 in the taskbar and clicked exit ..... Then uno opens normally. Sorry guys and gals. I got exited and immediately assumed I did the normal and broke it. Haha geez
