Access via LAN

Post by V_V_K » Sat Jul 22, 2017 7:39 am

Hi. Please teach a newbie. Can I tune and listen to SDRPlay on iPad via local network? What do I need for that?

You can run Teamviewer or Splashtop on your desktop. Both should have Ipad clients available.

Teamviewer, vnc, radmin, splashtop... These are the last options I want. Doesn't SDR software have web interface? How hundreds of websdr work then?

You can access your SDR remotely via the OpenWebRX or ShinySDR. I've tested SDRPlay with ShinySDR recently

If you use SDR-Console (windows) it has a server/client mode or if you use CubicSDR (cross platform) you can use SoapyRemote to access the RSP remotely (https://github.com/pothosware/SoapyRemote/wiki)

This is already on our Raspberry Pi image that we provide if you want to use a RPi as a server - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2239

I am a miserable Windows user, don't beat me :)
As I understand CubicSDR + SoapyRemote is the only choice? I'll get access from iPad's Safari?
That would be easier if I use another PC instead of iPad, SDR-Console does the thing. But I want my iPad.

Nothing native for the iPad other than remote control software as previously mentioned.
