Using an RSP1 w/SDRtouch on a Google Pixel 2 phone

Post by SevenFortyOne » Wed Dec 27, 2017 6:53 pm

Greetings All,

Has anyone tried running an RSP1 (not the 1a) on a Google Pixel 2 (released oct 2017) with the SDRplay driver and SDR touch? I can't seem to get mine working.

I'm getting the following message when trying to start SDRtouch with the RSP1 connected via my USB OTG adapter:

"Device was found but cannot be open. This
may indicate that your phone/tablet needs to
be rooted. If it is rooted already, then make
sure you have given SU permission to the
driver."

This same setup works flawlessly on my old Samsung Galaxy S4 phone.

Any ideas?

I use this app to check USB host mode compatibility...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... s&hl=en_GB

Follow the instructions and make sure you get positive results from all tests.

Best regards,

I ran the USB Host Diagnostic tool and it looks like it's not supported.
