RSP1A and HDSDR DRM mode

Post by martinpd » Mon Feb 05, 2018 2:59 pm

Using the RSP1A and HDSDR - Do I need a VAC and Dream to receive DRM or does HDSDR already have decoding built in? Can DRM be implemented in SDRuno? Overall it seems to work far better on my PC than HDSDR, the only reason I looked at it was because it appeared to support DRM.

My first foray into SDR years ago was with the Chinese TV dongles which left me quite disappointed and I ended up tossing them in a drawer and forgetting about it. Of late I got them out to experiment with to build some filters and a preamp but found the SDRPlay web page in my search for info. The specs intrigued me so I ordered the RSP1A. I am blown away by how great and versatile a receiver it is. I'm loving it. Kudos to the developers!

Hello Martin,
SDRuno does not have a built in DRM decoder. You will also need to use VAC and dream.
