high amplitude issue with gnuradio pfb clock recovery

Dear All,
I was wondering if someone came across the issue with using the polyphase clock recovery block in gnuradio where with high amplitudes the algorithm doesnt work? It hangs the flowgraph giving infinity to the estimated phase?
