Hmmm! What to say.
SDRPlay is capable to receive SAQ and I am receiving session 03 07 2016 and my be see on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v8EJ3iHuQA

I am located on the south Adriatic in Croatia. Around me has several thunderstorms, receiving second transmitting when propagation is poorly but signal was good. And must to increase AF gain too :D

But. There is not end of story. Time to time I am receiving signal from Russian navaid Alpha on the 14,880kHz
About MSF on the 60kHz and DCF77 on the 77,5 kHz have signals 24 hours on the day.

There is some interesting. My favorite program is SDR Radio and is fantastic program without notch for CW what is necessary when listen NDB because sometime have three or more signals in one kHz. This program or support from SDR Play generate very poor receiving under 18 kHz and when receiving some on VLF I am using one of the older versions SDR Sharp.

Hello All,

the station with the lowest frequency I can receive is the RSDN-20 TX on 11,905 kHz.
The SAQ-transmission from 08:41 to 09:07 UTC on July, 03. 2016 was received here 20dB above noise floor using a bandwidth of 200Hz.

Antenna: rf-systems DX-10
Receiver: SDRplay, HDSDR 2.70
QTH: Cologne, Germany
Grid: JO30NX

Two questions:
1) Can I use FlexRadio's PowerSDR software with the SDRPlay box?
2) Is anyone in the US able to receive the 25.2kHz station at La Moure, ND with a SDRPlay box? If yes, please state the software you use (PowerSDR or the like), your location and type of antenna.
Thanks.

I tried VLF reception without a converter today. My SDRplay works down to approx 24 kHz. DHO38 (23,4 kHz) is the lowest station i can identify between lots of mirror frequencies. DCF77 is no problem, MSC Crumbia is slightly visible, too. ELF stations like Russian Alpha RSDN20 are not visible. Setting sample-rate, filtering preamp etc. is quite tricky. Sometimes i had to restart SDRsharp.

17.2 kHz will be too low for SDRplay. However, you can simply use your PC sound card for that.

These frequencies, all different diapasons, how it it impact human body?

Of course. For SDRplay 17,2kHZ is NOT too low. Sound card is much better at this freq. about DC but this evening I am listen Alpha signal at 14881 with SDR radio(V3) (SDR radio(V2) is deaf). Not perfect like sound card but main signal is clear readable included peak on the audio spectrum. Russian RDL at 18.1kHz is like local in the my QTH on the Croatian South Adriatic Coast.
My congratulations to the Simon for good job in the just preview version (and AF gain without double clicking :D )

Edit: Lowest frequency what I am receive with SDRplay and HDSDR is 50 Hz

At the this moment this is echoes of the thunderstorms over the Italia to the DC and there signals too.
