Strange "noise" on 14 MHz

Post by glovisol » Sat Jun 30, 2018 5:12 am

A very strange wideband noise started on the 20 m. band in the afternoon (16 GMT). Most signals are blotted out and the phenomenon is detectable by the fact that the top of the display becomes whitish. It is still going on now, 5 GMT of June 30. All other frequency bands are in normal condition, as far as I can see. Is this disturbance being detected elsewhere?
