SDR UNO+WINDOWS+RASPBERRY PI 3B

Post by throbonolax » Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:53 pm

Hi Gents,

I was very disappointed to find that SDRUNO currently will not run on the Raspberry pi 3 - but runs on windows OK.

As a work around--Is it possible to load windows on to the Raspberry PI (OK i know that it is) then run SDUNO as an application from there?, if there is a limitation in storage can a external device (USB stick or NAS) be attached to the PI, is is there an inherent limitation in the ARM processor of the PI that would prevent the PI running SDR UNO?

Thank you

Johnny

SDRuno is an Windows/x86 application. It will run on small systems like a LattePanda or Intel Z83

Dear Support,

Thank you for the reply, so there is no chance SDRUNO will (or can be persuaded) to run on a PI3B?

Regards

Johnny

It would have to be able to emulate Windows/x86 - even if there was an emulator I don't think it will have the power to run Windows, the emulator and SDRuno

Our aim is to make SDRuno available on Mac OSX and Linux/x86 but that's it at the moment. I have no timescale for that.

Apparently Raspberry PI 3B can run Windows XP in an emulator.
