UI with RTL

Hello everyone.
I am very new to Receivers but I know I'm going to enjoy it as it takes me back 60yrs sitting by the old tube wooden radio doing DX.
I have bought the lovely RSP1A with the SDRuno but still waiting for someone to put the wire antenna up it up for me.
The other day, in a brain explosion I bought the RTL SDR, just a small matchbox size receiver. Would the Console UI by SDRplay be okay to use?
