Produce audio .wav files possible ?
Hi,
Is it possible to use commandline tools (like play_sdr) to tune to a frequency, capture around 5 kHz on both sides of this frequency, and write the received signal as an audio (.wav) file ?
Or do I need to do the capturing in raw i/Q, and then use some converter to make an audio wav file out of this, if possible ?
If yes, what tool would I use.
Environment:
Linux Debian 9
RSP1
SoapySDR + SoapySDRRemote
Goal:
Trying to set up a headless (no GUI) monitoring station for reception and decoding of FT8.
Thanks,
Hans
