Simple remote low overhead SDR app
Simple remote low overhead SDR app
Im looking to use my SDRPlay RSP1 as remote receiver with smart phone or tablet, like audio streaming from radio stations use codecs under 24kbit, however remote SDR use IQ data stream and needs a broadband connection over multi Mbit rates, need a simple VoIP control application. want to dial up mode & frequency not really wanting to view spectrum or waterfall.
Any suggestions or ideas ??

Hi,
me too interested in that - but haven't found a good solution yet.
QuestaSDR is aimed to do that, but it's far too unmature, at least for me.
OpenWebRX does that - haven't built a server myself yet...
When I seriously need to do remote from mobile, I open up a RDP (MS RD Client) connection from my android cellphone to my server. That works, but is quite clumsy to operate.
That subject is also mentioned in SDRuno roadmap: '1.41: A Remote Client version of 1.4'. But my guess is that it doesn't happen in very near future, though.
