3.8.3 fixed the exception issue here too. Thank you very much!

It's simply the link you posted above at 12:07 pm for me to try v3.8.2.

It's not a DOS program so I have no idea why it would bring a DOS window up.

You really need to stick with 3.8.3 - 3.8.2 has a problem that was fixed in 3.8.3

If you are still stuck, let us know.

I noticed that HDSDR is loading very slow, I'm staring for ~30s at a "ExtIO_SDRPlay is loading, please wait" message box when I didn't run it for a few hours (computer was not shut down in the meantime). Anyone else?

Hi 13dka,
This is because it is downloading the station name database each time you restart HDSDR (to ensure you have the most up to date version). This will only happen once per day. The time taken will depend upon your internet connection speed. You can disable this so that it works offline using the database that you had previously downloaded under the advanced settings/Station Config of the ExtIO plugin

Sincerely

Oh ouch, thanks! I thought some strange indexing issue or something was going on. Improvement suggestion: The message could be a tiny little bit more verbose, like...

In the meantime let me serve you some tea and dust off your listening place. Thank you very much for your valued attention, of course we hope the condx will be nothing less than great!
