Recommended Reading for the very new?

Post by Macnozzie » Sun Jul 03, 2016 7:37 pm

Hey there folks, got my SDRPlay RSP a couple weeks ago and have been having lots of fun trying to find things on the airwaves. As I am currently using an old peice of Speaker wire tossed into a tree out front, I didnt expect to hear alot but am getting some signals to look at and listen too. I am completely new to SDR and amateur radio so just looking for a little vacation reading to familiarize myself with SDR applications, Data capture and analysis if possible, or just something you wish you read when you were knee high to a grasshopper.
Cheers!

A great source of infos and suggestions is rtl-sdr.com
On a recent article they cite http://luaradio.io/new-to-sdr.html
which is a "fresh" and all-round intro to this hobby.

Bye
