Fresh Windows 7 Ent x64 install.
Completed a full Windows Update.
Installed Driver and API 1.5.0.
Installed HDSDR.
Ran ExtIO installer.
Connected SDRPlay.
SDRPlay not found.
Sound,Video and game controllers in Device Manager shows the Mirics FlexiTV with an exclamation mark. Code 52.
Disconnecting SDRPlay and reconnecting gives me Device driver software was not installed successfully. Please consult your device manufacturer.

The new driver requires Windows 7 to be fully up to date with Windows Updates as it checks the latest certificate authentication. Can you make sure windows update has been run and that you are fully up to date with all patches. Then uninstall the device from the device manager and reinstall.

Hi,
it tried a while to find out what happens when and why ... finally I have no idea what it could cause. It happens sometime, no reason why. Here it is how it looks like:

At the lower end of the waterfall you see the signals before it stops working. There's no energy saving on, sample rate is 8MS. I'll try it now with lower sample rates, but there's no other device on the port that the SDRPlay is connected to and thus the port should handle the data rate.
I'll keep you informed.

Hi,
I let SDRPlay run with HDSDR now for 24h @ 6MS, no problem up to now. So, it seems to be a bandwidth related issue. I go now over to 7MS. Let's see what happens.

... and it just failed @7MS after app. 1h. So, it seems that (at least with my configuration) it can be operated stable only up to 6MS with the extio.dll. Now, I repeat the test if it works stable @8MS using SDRConsole.

... 8MS with SDRConsole is running 24h now without failure. Again: it seems that there is something in the latest extio.dll that is time-critical for sample rate > 6MS @ my I3-3220 system.
