HF Antenna Connection - RSP2

I have my RSP2 on order but before it arrives I'd like to understand the best way of connecting my HF antenna.
Currently I have a wire dipole with a 9:1 transformer and coax to the shack. All my previous receivers have been 50 Ohm receptors so given some of the information floating around about the HiZ port I'm a at a point where I need to decide the best course of action:
a. Plug my coax into Port A
b. Strip the connector off my coax and connect to the HiZ port
Any feedback would be gratefully received.
