"OffS" continuously displayed in SAM mode
"OffS" continuously displayed in SAM mode
Just noticed that SDRUno 1.11 continuously displays frequency offset (shown next to "OFFS") when in the SAM mode. I'm using an RSP1. When calibrated the frequency bobbles within a few tenths of a Hz at 10MHz at normal indoor temperatures. Pretty impressive.
A hair dryer aimed at the RSP1 quickly raises OFFS several Hz. I'm curious how my RSP2 will do when it arrives.

Re: "OffS" continuously displayed in SAM mode
Is the new automatic "Frequency Calibration Procedure" the most precise method? It's fast and reasonably accurate, but I get slightly better precision by manually fiddling with the "Crystal Calibration" number in Main Settings. 2.05 works great with my RSP1 in my basement. I'm thinking it might be fun to tackle an ARRL Frequency Measuring Contest with a bare bones SDRPlay.
