Using the new SDR PLAY Pro, which alternative of SDR SHARP SPECTRUM SPY would you recommend or even better used?

As a reference, article on Spectrum Spy is: http://www.rtl-sdr.com/spectrum-spy-new ... he-airspy/

There is currently no wideband scanner/display equivalent for the sdrplay, but it is in the works for sdruno and sdrconsole...

I've been hoping for a dedicated spectrum analyzer program with features similar to, say, an Instek GSP-810 spectrum analyzer. The RSP receivers are certainly capable of this without modification. Such would make the RSP a very good piece of test equipment. I already do measurements with SDRuno but it is lacking real spec analyzer features such as markers, dedicated readouts, delta functions, etc.

Thank you Paul!
This request is not only for using SDR Play as a spectrum analyzer tool.

Is there a plan of when it will be released?

In addition, is there a workaround available?
