RSP1 problems with new API/EXTIO

Is there any way to run the new EXTIO plug in V1.0 - so that the RSP1 can be used with SDR# - ver 1361.

If not, which I suspect is the case, as I got no joy when installing it - is there a way to have two APIs installed at once? I would at least like to keep up with the developments of the SDR Uno (and SDR Console) software.

I hoping to see the following enhancements to SDR Uno to make it more suitable for serious FM DXing - and it is especially important if someone has bought the RSP2.

1. Automatic reset of the RDS DX mode when the frequency is changed and when the signal drops out for more than a user-defined interval.

2. Output of the RDS data generated to a csv file that is automatically saved and appended to - with the time and frequency - whenever an RDS pI code is detected.

These two improvements would among other things enable the external program CSVUserListBrowser to be used to drive the frequency of SDRUno via CAT commands - giving a rudimentary means of stepping through the FM Band and having SDRUNo log any RDS data generated. .

The result - a means of continually monitoring the band when the operator is away - invaluable for picking up short SpE openings - and overnight tropo enhancements.

Hello David,
You should be able to use the latest ExtIO plugin and API with SDR# v1361. Please back up your existing API and ExtIO plugin first (just in case), but it ought to work fine as the plugin complies to the ExtIO interface specification that is supported by SDR# release 1361 or earlier.

Sincerely

Thanks for the reply - I haven't worked out what went wrong the first time.

Then having successfully installed for SDR# - it was a simple case of copying the dll from the SDR# folder to the HDSDR folder.

Hopefully you will add my suggestions to the wish list

David
