RP2 USB driver load fails on Windows 10

I had been able to control the RP2 using SDRConsole.
But since I've installed SDRuno, even after a reboot Windows 10 complains when I plug in the RP2 that the "Device Descriptor request failed"
I have tried uninstalling all of the SDR SW and rebooting the Lenovo Win 10 laptop and tried all four of the USB ports on the laptop, but always get the same message upon plugin,
