RSP2-PRO Antenna Port B_Bias T
Greetings,
Please do bear in mind that The selection of ANTB or Port BT The choice of Antenna being used is very important.
For example ,Using a QFH Antenna On Port B without a pre-amp installed can place a DC Short on the USB SUPPLY FEED FROM THE Computer
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS TYPE OF ANTENNA PRESENTS A DC SHORT CIRCUIT AND PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN BECAUSE THE RSP2-PRO OUTPUTS A VOLTAGE TO FEED A PRE-AMP. Such as the LNA4-ALL.
I Don't know to what extent the RSP2-PRO IS Protected from such an eventuality occuring,Whether or not,it is is prudent to keep in mind that some Antennas do represent a DC Short .
Best Regards, Storminorm
