Satellite reception freqs

Postby bobarry » Thu Mar 15, 2018 8:08 pm

A simple request.
I live in a HOA area and if my antennas are detected, I think if I show that they are SATTELITE antennas ( but not the allowed dish antennas) I might skate OK.

How about some useful frequencies for my new RSP2pro?

I have it going with SDRUNO & HDSDR but not the SDR PLAY console so far.

Thanks 73 Bo W4GHV since '54

Have you tried a Google search on 'stealth antennas'? While many of the hits will be for Amateur Radio band antennas and also those for transmitting, you may get some ideas that can be applied to your situation.
What sort of roof do you have? Do you have metal foil in the walls?
The satellite frequencies generally mean small(er) antenna so they might be easier to conceal.

Try the AMSAT website for satellite frequencies:

http://www.amsat.org/status/

If you click on the chosen individual satellite a new page will open given the satellite operating frequency.
