RSP2PRO vs RSP1a
RSP2PRO vs RSP1a
I am not sure if this has been asked previously but can someone explain the fundamental difference between the RSP2PRO and the RSP1A.
Thank you

Re: RSP2PRO vs RSP1a
The most obvious difference is the three selectable antenna inputs on the RSP2. Two SMA types which are best for VHF and the high-z terminal block which is optimised for 0 - 30 MHz.
The RSP1a has only one input but the input filters and signal routing has been changed to make it suitable for all frequencies. There has also been a small adjustment to enable the ADC to work in 14-bit mode at spans under 6 MHz, but I doubt the difference will be dramatic.

Re: RSP2PRO vs RSP1a
Thank you Andy.
I had the RSP2pro which I have passed on. I note that the RSP1a does appear to perform as near as the RSP2 from video clips published on Utube.
I may decide on the RSP1a.
Thanks again.
