Mirics FlexiTV driver not loading in Windows 7 64bit

Has anyone had a problem with the Mirics FlexiTV driver not loading in Windows 7 64Bit due to a signing issue. The device driver error message is give below which is available via device manager. Strangely this worked in Windows 8 but for some reason Windows 7 is giving me grief. BTW if I start Windows 7 with an F8 option and choose the run option which disables device driver signing checks everything works fine. Of course I don't want to have to do that every time I boot up my workstation:)

Device Driver Error Message:

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Hi
I had this exact error previously.
You should update your Windows to solve it.
(Mirics uses signing certificates in its latest drivers which are not available in Windows 7's CA list, but is available in Windows 8. When you update your Windows, this list is also updated)
Preferably restart Windows after update and before installing Mirics driver.

The API/Driver install requires SHA-2 certificate support. This is supported out of the box with Windows 8 and Windows 10 but Windows 7 by default only supports SHA-1 certificates,

By either keeping Windows 7 updated with Windows Update or by applying Microsoft patch 3033929 you can get Windows 7 to support SHA-2

The link to the patch is available on our website (http://www.sdrplay.com/windows.html or http://www.sdrplay.com/starthere.html)
