use SDRplay as scanner with stored channels (frequencies)

Post by Scannie » Wed Nov 28, 2018 7:50 pm

Hello,

I'm a new user of the SDRplay and want to use it as a ' normal' radio scanner.

What I want is:
Store selected channels (frequencies) in a preset memory.
Scan only these channels.
When there is communication, stop scanning and play the communication via the speaker.
When communication is stopped, start scanning the selected channels again.

I tried SDRuno, but couldn't find this option.
Who can help me?
Is this possible with SDRuno, or maybe with alternative software?

Thanks.
Peter

SDRuno does not currently include a scanning function. However, see the following.
For information regarding scanning using SDRuno see:
https://www.sdrplay.com/updated-sdrplay ... -road-map/
Specifically V1.3

Also, have a look at the memory panel functions (the intent seems to have always been to provide this facility.

However, if you're in a rush, older versions of SDR# eg 1361 will work with a RSP (assuming that you have one)
I hope this may be of use.
